Dr. Yumeko Klimek

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Yumeko Klimek was born and raised in San Diego, CA where she fell in love with medicine for our beloved pets. She started her journey by attending the University of California Davis for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and then the University of Minnesota for veterinary school. This is when Dr. Klimek fell in love with the Midwest and met her husband. After spending ten years in Minnesota, they moved to Madison to remain active in their church’s mission of reaching college students. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Klimek mentors college students, helping them navigate young adulthood and faith at the University of Wisconsin Madison. All other times, she enjoys chasing around her two young kids, going camping, being outdoors, grilling, and spending downtime with her church family, friends, and college students.
