McKenna Meyer

Veterinary Assistant

McKenna was born and raised in northwest WI. After a summer of retraining a horse in high school, she realized her passion was caring for animals and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She then started her journey of rescuing and fostering small exotic animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats. She currently attends UW-Madison with hopes of attending the veterinary school next fall to become a DVM.

When McKenna isn’t working or attending class, she enjoys weightlifting, playing hockey, and reading. She lives with one human and 6 rodent roommates; rats Crouton, Azazel, Gadriel, Julius, and Roast Beef and Syrian hamster, Heda.
